English 3 first hour: Groups will reconvene and divide out/practice assigned portions of "Song of Myself." You will present tomorrow. Remember that your group has to explain for the class what you think Whitman was saying in your portion. Then, you will have some time to work on your letters. Sixth and seventh hours: Work on your letters! They need to be finished by the end of the day tomorrow so that I can send them. The rest of the week we will review for the exam and you will have time to work on the essay portion so you do not have to do it that day and feel rushed.
Reading: We will read on in The Lost Boy.
English 4/1101: You will get in your assigned groups and discuss the essays your partners wrote. You will have the rest of the hour to work on revision. The rest of the week, you will have time to work on the revision and get the final draft submitted (due by Dec. 20 at 10:00 A.M.) and to work on your revised essay/cover letter as the final exam (also due by Dec. 20 at 10:00 A.M.). You may come in next week during my fourth, fifth, or eighth hours if you want to work on your essay or need help. You may also come in to submit your essays if you need to.
Speech: We will begin discussing Chapter 6, which is how to deal with anxiety in speaking. We will begin learning how to create formal speeches in January after the break.
