Freshmen: Instead of your normal bellringer, write about this today and label it "Bellringer Speak 1": "How would you describe Mr. Freeman in speak? What qualities does he possess that make him a good teacher? Have you ever known any teacher similar to Mr. Freeman?" We will begin class discussions by choosing a favorite passage so far in the novel and we will do an activity in our groups called "Save the Last Word for Me." Next, we will discuss our journals.
