• Journal write: What are your problem areas as a speaker? Do you speak too rapidly? Are you too quiet/loud? Are you monotone? Do you use vocal fillers such as “um” or “uh”? Do you have pronunciation/articulation problems with specific words/sounds? What are they?

English 4 (both hours): Discuss p. 67 homework. Journal write on page 64. Assignment: pages 69-70--read first time for questions on p. 68 (just think about them--don't write them out) then read a second time, answering on paper both sets of questions at end of reading.
