Speech: We will begin Chapter 6. It is now time to concentrate on learning how to relax when giving a speech. We will soon begin impromptu speeches in preparation for the big ones coming after Christmas Break.

Since yesterday we didn't get to the Power Point presentation, I will present it today and we will take notes. Then, we will get into our lit circles to discuss. Read Chapters 2 and 3 for tomorrow.
Freshmen: Bellringer 42: http://bearcatenglish.com/Bellringers.doc Now that you've read up to page 30 and written three questions for your group, you will get into your lit circles and read/discuss your questions. We will then discuss "fat" and "skinny" questions (good and bad questions). Read to page 46 by tomorrow.
