Speech: Today we will finish our group assignments and discuss what we noticed during them. We will then review for the Chapter 5 test for tomorow.
Sophomores: Go to http://bearcatenglish.com/Bellringers.doc and do bellringer 39. We will take a grade over comma rules 4, 5, and 6. New lit circle groups will be assigned today and we will discuss what makes a good and bad group. We will set ground rules and consequences.
Freshmen: Go to http://bearcatenglish.com/Bellringers.doc and do bellringer 40. In our groups, we will discuss our first impressions of speak. After I have read some more aloud, you will write some questions for your group members. We will discuss types of questions--good "fat" questions and bad "skinny" questions. Your reading assignment is to read to page 30 and prepare a picture to discuss with the group tomorrow.
