English 3: Remember to be reading 15 pages/30 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Also, remember to record your book and pages read each day in your calendar!
Tentative schedule for this week:
Monday: Vocabulary test. Read the rest of the hour or begin note taking on your sources for your research paper. (you will need at least 20 note cards)
Tuesday: Take notes on sources. (you will need at least 20 note cards)
Wednesday: New vocabulary. Read all hour.
Thursday: Take notes on sources. I will check your SOURCE cards today and give you a grade. Be sure all information from source cards is filled out (unless you can't find that information).
Friday: New vocabulary. Work on source cards/note cards (you will need at least 20 note cards). We will discuss outlining for the research paper.
English 4: Work on finishing your notes and working on your outline this week.

Monday: Vocabulary test. Wrap up note taking and begin your research paper outline. I will check your sources today for a grade.
Tuesday: Work on outline. Remember to include your sources in your outline.
Wednesday: New vocabulary. Continue work on outline.
Thursday: Note cards are due. Continue to work on outline. It will be due next week.
Friday: New vocabulary. Work on outline. Discuss drafting.
Communications: Finish outlines this week and work on visual aides. Speeches will begin by the end of this week.

Monday: Finish outlines. Peer edit outlines.
Tuesday: Peer edits of outlines due today.
Wednesday: Discuss visual aides. Work on visual aides today.
Thursday: Work on visual aides today. Wrap up final discussion and preparations for speeches. Draw names for speech order.
Friday: Possibly: begin speeches today.
