Sophomores: Group work on "The Monkey's Paw" literary elements. Study vocabulary words. Lit circles tomorrow.
Freshmen: "All the Years of Her Life" vocab test Friday. Biographical narrative rewrite. Rewrite for clarity of details, run-on sentences, paragraphing, and elements from your proofreading sheet. Due Monday. "The Most Dangerous Game" due with sticky notes Monday. Sticky notes can include the following:
a. connections (things you are reminded of)
b. wonderings/predictions
c. unknown words and your guesses as to the meaning
d. places you got confused and why it confused you
e. literary elements you noticed
