Now you know: The word "set" has ore definitions than any other word in the English language.
Speech: Today we will discuss your visual aids, spending most of the time talking about Power Point. We will draw for speech order Friday. Speeches will begin Monday.
Sophomores: We will begin substituting a study of Greek and Latin root words in place of bellringers for the next few weeks. At the beginning of class each day, you will be given a worksheet to complete. You will spend about 5-10 minutes on it, and whatever is not finished then becomes homework to go over the next day in class FOR A GRADE. Today, you will learn "ject." Finish editing Sections 1 and 2. Send your corrected thank you letter and show me proof it was sent (either I stamp it and mail it, or you get the person's signature, or you send me a carbon copy if it was emailed). Begin Section 4. It is due by the end of the day tomorrow.
Freshmen: We will begin substituting a study of Greek and Latin root words in place of bellringers for the next few weeks. At the beginning of class each day, you will be given a worksheet to complete. You will spend about 5-10 minutes on it, and whatever is not finished then becomes homework to go over the next day in class FOR A GRADE. Today, you will learn "ject."
