English 3 -- First Hour: Today, you will begin your written test over Dickinson and Whitman. I will give you a worksheet with questions. You will have today and tomorrow to complete it in class.
Sixth Hour: We will discuss Walt Whitman. We will then read the preface to Leaves of Grass. For homework, read "Song of Myself" and do the worksheet given to you in class.
Seventh Hour: We will discuss your homework, the worksheet over Whitman's poetry. Then, we will read two poems written in response to Whitman: Langston Hughes's "I, too," and Angela de Hoyos's "To Walt Whitman."

English 4 -- Your essays are due tomorrow. Please finish peer editing and fixing errors. I will hand back your beginning essay from the first day of class along with the revision assignment for your final. The revision final is due by next Wednesday. When your argumentation-persuasion and final essays are turned in, you are finished for the semester. Bring something to work on the rest of the semester.

Speech-- Presenters today are Janelle, Will, and Ryan.
