March 1, 2005 Tuesday

Happy March! Spring Break is this month!!!

Now you know: Dr. Samuel A. Mudd was the physician who set the leg of Lincoln's assassin John Wilkes Booth...and whose shame created the expression for ignominy (great personal dishonor or humiliation), "His name is Mudd."

Speech: Brad and Scott give their speeches today. We will be evaluating them as a class as well.

Sophomores: Bellringer worksheet: "THERM". Print another copy of Section 3 and your Works Cited. Highlight like last year (I will explain again in class). If I get your Section3 papers graded, you need to fix mistakes. Staple covers for your drafts, copies, etc. Make cover for entire I-Search paper. Remember to turn in signature on thank you letter by tomorrow.

Freshmen: Bellringer worksheet: "THERM". Finish correcting Section 1 and 2. Remember to turn in signature on thank you letter by tomorrow. Do Section 4 worksheet.
