English 3 -- If you will be absent tomorrow for chorus to sing at WSIL TV 3 and you want to do the extra credit project, please bring your songs and lyrics today. In class today, we will discuss another writer who marched to the beat of a different drum...Emily Dickinson. Please bring her packet of p0ems you receive in class with you each day. Your Transcendentalism projects are due by tomorrow at the end of the day. If you want extra credit, bring your songs and lyrics to class tomorrow.
English 4 -- Continue working on your argumentation/persuasion drafts. Remember: they are due at the beginning of the hour Friday.
Speech -- Work on your visual aid. Today, we will discuss how to prepare for your speech. We will begin speeches Friday and will draw names for presentations today. If you know you are going to be absent any day from this Friday until the 14th, please let me know ASAP so we can schedule speeches around you. If you are absent the day you are scheduled to give speeches and are unexcused, your speech will be lowered considerably. Additionally, if you are excused absent the day of your speech, you will go FIRST when you return.
