Happy October!
English 3 -- First hour: You will have a brief jr. class meeting. The rest of the hour, you will work on your essay outline. If time allows, I will discuss introductions and conclusions and how to turn your outline into an essay. Sixth and seventh hours: I will show you how to spice up your writing today. You will have the rest of the hour to fix up your draft and then print and give a copy of your essay for someone to grade. You will receive the editing back tomorrow so you can fix your errors.
English 4 / 1101: You have all hour to finish typing your draft. A copy is due, in your hands, when you come to class tomorrow. Do NOT bring your only copy in case your editor loses it. Tomorrow, we will discuss punctuation and then peer edit. Your paper will be due Thursday, though Tues. is the last class day to work on it in my room. Weds. we will begin the next type of writing.
Speech -- We will work on your groups.
