English 3 -- ACT review. Quiz over commas tomorrow. Quick 8 today. Discussion of Chapters 5-8. Turn in your level two and three questions. For tomorrow, read Chapters 9-12 and do leveled questions.

English 4 (1102) -- I will give you a list of hot topics today for those of you who are feeling stuck finding a topic. You will need to narrow down your topic so that it is not too broad (though you also need to avoid narrowing your topic too much). You will get a sheet today that asks questions about your topic so as to guide you on your path to deciding what to research and present in your paper. That sheet is due Thursday.

Speech -- Today, make your main points of your speech outline parallel. Also, add a linguistic device that we discussed in class. Tomorrow and Thursday you will type your outlines and turn them in by Friday. Friday we will draw names for speeches (which begin Monday) and discuss how to prepare for presentation.

Reading Lab -- You will finish your letters to pen pals. You can look up pictures to send.
