English 3 -- Well, logging into ezboard took longer than expected, so we're behind. No homework tonight--just be sure you've read to the end of Chapter 20 and prepared level 2 and 3 questions. We will do a quick 8 today and finish the ACT quiz.
English 4 -- Today we will discuss "The Lottery" and thesis statements. You will have a thesis statement for an essay (you won't actually write the essay) due tomorrow. Your thesis statement for your research paper is also due tomorrow. We will discuss using bib and note cards today, as well as talk about how to quote effectively and use paraphrasing.
Speech -- Jessica was the only one ready today, and tomorrow we have a guest speaker from RLC, so we will postpone speeches until Thursday. That means....all speeches are two days off. I will try to get a new calendar up soon.
